Roofing contractors in Decatur: ranked picks
Decatur's mix of older craftsman bungalows, brick ranches, and newer infill homes means roofers here deal with everything from delicate original decking to standard asphalt tear-offs. The contractors below serve the wider Atlanta metro, but each has a track record on Decatur jobs specifically. Rankings follow our methodology, which weighs review volume, rating, recency, and sentiment together rather than star rating alone.
Decatur's tree canopy brings frequent storm damage and limb strikes, so a lot of local demand is repair and insurance-claim work rather than ground-up new builds. Older homes near downtown Decatur and Oakhurst often need careful matching of existing shingle or metal profiles, while newer construction in areas like Winnona Park tends toward straightforward replacements. Several contractors below also handle gutters and flat commercial roofs, useful if you're dealing with both a house and a rental or small business property in the same trip.
